Sausage Stuffing with Extra Virgin Olive Oil

3 tbsp Delizia Extra Virgin Olive Oil
3/4 cup Delizia Butter Extra Virgin Olive Oil
1 lb (1 loaf) Honey Wheat or Multigrain Bread, cubes
1/2 lb. (Jimmy Dean bulk hot or mild) Breakfast Sausage
1 white onion, chopped
4 stalks celery, chopped
2 tsp poultry seasoning
1/2 cup chicken broth
salt and pepper to taste


Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Place sausage in large skillet and cook over medium heat until evenly browned. Remove sausage from skillet and drain. Combine with extra virgin olive oil and melted butter extra virgin olive oil. Chop onions and celery and saute with sausage mixture until onion is tender. Stir in bread cubes, poultry seasoning, salt and pepper and mix well. Moisten with chicken broth and blend. Bake in a casserole
dish for 35 minutes or use as a stuffing for a turkey or chicken.

Makes 6-8 servings
